Spring Fishing With Caledonia Flies

screen-shot-2017-02-24-at-14-55-47Spring has arrived and the water temperatures are up for this time of year. January and February have produced some lovely fish but things have been slower than usual. Fingers crossed there should be a much better March with fish pushing up through the beats on your river. We have had some snow putting water reserves on the hills for later in the spring.

Spring on the Tweed 2017

Here we are at the start of another season on the famous river Tweed. With water temperatures being higher than normal the fish should not all be stuck in one beat this season and hopefully spread over the lower and middle beats. Caledonia Flies has a new range of intruders which have been received very well by you.

Other great spring patterns include of course the Posh Tosh in its various setups. Below is the Pro Ultra Sonic Disc version. Like the intruders full of life with its long flowing materials.    4587.JPG

Also never leave home without the Gledswood & Yellow

and the Junction Shrimp.

If you are in the area you could pop into the local Caledonia Fly Company dealers – Borders Gunroom at St Boswells, Orvis or Tweedside Tackle in Kelso.

We at Caledonia Fly Company wish you all tight lines and hope you land that very much prized Spring fish. If you wish to see more of our patterns please look at our online brochure and buy them from our stockists list.
